Prospective Students

The Old Ironsides Battalion takes pride in offering its midshipmen the opportunity to receive an education at the world's finest universities while working towards a commission in the United States Navy or United States Marine Corps. As a member of the Battalion, you will develop leadership skills and naval knowledge through the mentorship of senior officers, classroom discussion, and practical application. As a graduate of our program, you will be exceptionally well-prepared for whatever naval career you choose to follow.

All prospective students interested in competing for a NROTC scholarship at Harvard, MIT, or Tufts University, are required to conduct an interview with a Naval Officer as part of the application process.  In order to arrange an Officer Interview, please find and contact your local Navy Recruiting Officer here.  If you will be on campus and would like to schedule a visit or your official National NROTC Scholarship Application Officer Interview click here
