Prospective Students

The Old Ironsides Battalion takes pride in offering its midshipmen the opportunity to receive an education at the world's finest universities while working towards a commission in the United States Navy or United States Marine Corps. As a member of the Battalion, you will develop leadership skills and naval knowledge through the mentorship of senior officers, classroom discussion, and practical application. As a graduate of our program, you will be exceptionally well-prepared for whatever naval career you choose to follow.

All prospective students interested in competing for a NROTC scholarship at Harvard, MIT, or Tufts University, are required to conduct an interview with a Naval Officer as part of the application process. In order to arrange an Officer Interview, please find and contact your local Navy Recruiting Officer. Schedule a visit or schedule your official National NROTC Scholarship Application Officer Interview
